Refund Policy

Notary Signing Solutions is committed to providing professional and accurate service. Because notary, signing, travel, apostille, and related services involve reserved appointment time, travel, document handling, and other service-related costs, fees may become non-refundable once the applicable service or work has been performed.

Completed Services

Fees for completed notarial acts and other services that have already been performed are generally non-refundable.

If an error made by Notary Signing Solutions requires correction, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the error at no additional charge. If the issue cannot reasonably be corrected, any appropriate refund or other resolution will be determined based on the circumstances.

Services Not Performed

If you prepaid for a service that Notary Signing Solutions is unable to provide due to our error or inability to perform the service, the applicable unearned service fee will be refunded.

Client-Related Issues

Refunds generally will not be issued when a service cannot be completed or must be repeated because of circumstances outside the control of Notary Signing Solutions, including incomplete or incorrect documents, missing signers or witnesses, unacceptable identification, incorrect information provided by the client, or other client-related issues.

Travel, Scheduling & On-Site Fees

Travel or scheduling fees may become non-refundable once travel has begun or the notary has arrived at the appointment location.

For services requiring an advance scheduling or travel deposit, including certain correctional-facility appointments, the applicable deposit and refund terms will be communicated before the appointment is confirmed.

Waiting or stand-by fees may apply when an appointment exceeds the time included in the quoted service because of facility delays, client readiness, or other circumstances requiring the notary to remain onsite.

Remote Online Notarization

Clients are responsible for confirming before the appointment that the person, agency, organization, or other receiving authority will accept a Remote Online Notarization.

Once an online notarization has been completed, no refund will be issued solely because the receiving party does not accept the electronically notarized document.

Apostille & Third-Party Fees

Government filing fees, shipping or courier charges, translation fees, affiliate-provider charges, and other third-party costs that have already been incurred may be non-refundable.

Apostille processing times and acceptance are determined by the appropriate government authority. Notary Signing Solutions does not issue apostilles and cannot guarantee approval or processing by a government agency.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations, no-shows, rescheduling, appointment readiness, and travel-related charges are governed by the separate Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

Requesting a Refund or Correction

If you believe there is an issue with a service provided by Notary Signing Solutions, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide enough information for us to review the matter.

Approved refunds will be returned through an appropriate payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
